Totally imaginary arms of the Poldark family

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Totally fictitious arms, not in the books of the Poldark family of Trenwith and Nampara of Cornwall, England. Ermine is a traditional charge in Cornwall and Brittany, and seems a good representation for a very old Cornish family. I've reversed it to ermines (contra-ermine) to comply to Winston Graham's name for the family: he changed it from Polgreen to "Pol-dark", so it seems fair their arms should also be dark. The bezants are again a traditional Cornish charge (see Cornish Heraldry).
