Español: Placa conmemorativa dedicada al hospital de Santo Tomás en la fachada principal del edificio, calle Santa María, Málaga, España. La placa, ejecutada en piedra, contiene una inscripción que dice: «Este hospital fué fundado el año 1505 por el ilustre caballero / adjunto á los Reyes Católicos, Diego García de Hinestrosa / el que para su sostenimiento, legó todos los bienes que poseía. / Los terremotos acaecidos el 25 de diciembre de 1884, / lo resintieron de tal modo que fué preciso su total demolición. / La junta de patronos que lo administra, acordó su / reconstrucción, encargando al arquitecto provincial D.n Juan / N. de Ávila y Bermúdez de Castro, la dirección y planos, que / fueron aprobados por Real Orden de 21 de noviembre de 1887 / Empezaron las obras en 1888, / y terminaron en 1891». |
