Description
English: Plan and profile of the swing bridge of the Tuileries (1719). Paris, France. The bridge is in closed position. When it is opening, the two half-bridges rotate a quarter turn until joining to allow passage between the Tuileries Gardens and the Place de la Concorde.
Français : Plan et profil du pont-tournant des Tuileries (1719). Le pont est en position fermée. Quand on l'ouvre, les deux demi-passerelles pivotent d'un quart de tour jusqu'à s'emboiter et permettre le passage du jardin des Tuileries à la place de la Concorde.
