| Description |
English: Place D'Youville1 is a square in downtown Québec City. Backed by fortifications, it is a particularly busy public space between the old town and the parliamentary hill. Several cultural institutions of the city are located around or nearby. In winter, a part of the square is set up as a skating rink, while in summer it is one of the sites of the Québec City Summer Festival.
Français : La place D'Youville1 est une place du centre-ville de Québec. Adossée aux fortifications, c'est un espace public particulièrement achalandé entre la vieille ville et la colline parlementaire. Plusieurs institutions culturelles de la ville sont situées autour ou à proximité. En hiver, une partie de la place est aménagée en patinoire, tandis qu'en été elle constitue l'un des sites du festival d'été de Québec.
Español: La plaza D'Youville1 es una plaza en el centro de la ciudad de Quebec. Respaldada por fortificaciones, es un espacio público particularmente concurrido entre la ciudad vieja y la colina parlamentaria. Rückseitig an die Befestigungsanlagen angelehnt, ist er ein besonders belebter öffentlicher Raum zwischen der Altstadt und dem Parlamentshügel. Mehrere kulturelle Einrichtungen der Stadt befinden sich in der Umgebung oder in der Nähe. Im Winter wird ein Teil des Platzes als Eislaufbahn eingerichtet, während er im Sommer einer der Veranstaltungsorte des Sommerfestivals von Québec ist.
