The Hills Archimedean Lawn Mower.
The principle features of this well-known Machine
are its simplicity of Construction, Easy Draught,

fect and correct are the principles upon which it is

The invention of the Hills Lawn Mower wrought
a complete revolution in the manufacture of Lawn
Mowers, both in this country and in Europe, as it
was the first balanced Lawn Mower ever made, being

reduce cost (placing it in reach of every person need-
ing it), but it is also of very light weight and draft,

Since the Hand Roller was first introduced, it has been greatly improved
in style and variety of forms.
By the addition of weights along the shaft, greater weight is obtained,
while they are so adjusted that when not in use the handle is thrown up from
the ground, and kept clean and out of the way.
