Description
Paul-François des Hours-Farel, dit Paulin, issu d'une importante famille protestante, devint maire de Montpellier en 1831. Antoine Gros le peignit lors de son voyage pour l'Italie, bloqué à Montpellier dans l'attente de son passeport. Au fond le château de Mézouls, au sud-est de Montpellier sur la commune de Maugio.
