Summary[edit]

Description
English: Partisans from Roana of the group of "Little Teachers" at the kubala. Sitting on the ground Giuseppe Zanella "Bepi" (1923 - 2016), standing on the left Renato Vellar (1922, emigrated to Belgium), Sabino Fabris "Saetta" (1924- 2015, emigrated to Australia, in the belt holds the mitra loader) and Renato Bonato (1922, emigrated to Argentina). Photo taken after the war in the summer of 1946, in front of the kubala that served as provisional shelter during the raid of June 5, 1944, that day there was also Aldo Bonato "Sandro" that does not appear in the picture.

This anfrat is located in Cima Isidoro, on the precipice above Ospedaletto in Valsugana on the plateau of Asiago. In May 1944, about twenty youngs from Asiago and Roana joined the group of "Little Teachers" by Antonio Giuriolo "Capitan Toni". With the raid of June 5-10, 1944, the group of Little teachers was disbanded, the band survivors separate. The Roana's group passes first with the "Seven Communes Brigades", after the raid of Granezza of 6-7 September 1944, divergences arisen.

All Roana's team with Renzo Ghiotto passed with the garibaldian Brigade "Pino" between Castelletto and Rotzo. In mid-July the group of students from Vicenza with Luigi Meneghello moved to Torreselle and in October for a short time on the Berici Hills.
