Summary[edit]

Description
English: The parking area off the eastbound lanes of the New York State Thruway at mile marker 353.1, in the Town of Victor, New York, as seen on an August 2021 evening. In addition to the 27 Service Areas with their dining facilities, restrooms, and fuel stations, the New York State Thruway offers travellers eleven of these more limited-service rest stops (rebranded "text stops" in 2013 to combat distracted driving). In addition to overnight parking for both passenger vehicles and big-rig trucks, these areas offer garbage bins, picnic tables, dedicated pet areas, and emergency phones.
