Description
English: Panagia Paraportioani in Chora of Mykonos. The name Paraportiani means the inner entrance, as it was for entry into the interior of a medieval castle, therefore in Kastro. In the 15th century there were four small churches, they were connected in the following centuries, and above them was built more, thus creating a remarkable whole, in shape of the wave.
Čeština: Panagia Paraportioani, Chóra Mykonu. Jméno Paraportiani znamená vnitřní vchod, neboť byl za vstupem do vnitřní části středověkého hradu, tedy do čtvrti Kastro. V 15. století zde stály čtyři malé kostely, ty byly v následujících stoletích propojeny a nad nimi byl postavený další, čímž vznikl pozoruhodný celek tvaru mořské vlny.
