Description
English: Sun goes down... temperature drops. The light illuminates the columns with a special dark ochre tint. Temple of Baal-Shamin. Dedicatory inscriptions to Zenobia and Odaenathus dating to between 257 and 267 were discovered on columns set up in front of the theatre. Palmyra, Syria.
Русский: Храм Баалшамина, древний храм, посвященный ханаанскому божеству Баалшамину. Ханаан («Земля обетованная»). Развалины величественных сооружений и лучшие в мире образцы древнеримской архитектуры в богатейшем городе поздней античности. Самые знаковые памятники были уничтожены (взорваны) группировками «Иблисского государства» в 2015 году. Пальмира, Сирия.
