Español: la misma fue encargada por francisco Solano López carrillo. nunca llegó a pertenecer a ningún otro miembro más de su familia, ya fueren ascentendes, descendientes ni laterales.
por tanto, creo que debemos hacer justicia al gestor y financista del proyecto y, por qué no, a dar a esa belleza un nombre conveniente, adecuado y justo, denominándolo "palacio de lópez". |

- Durante la guerra de la triple alianza 1865-1870, el Palacio fue invadido por el ejército brasilero, fue totalmente saqueado y utilizado por tiempo como caballeriza. En el mástil del palacio flameaba sarcásticamente la bandera del Brasil, demostrando así su gran poder sobre una guerra en que la población paraguaya fue diezmada.
