English: Philadelphia Museum of Art, Gallery 215, various mediaeval English heraldry on stained glass.

    • 1: Azure, three lions rampant or (Fiennes, Baron Saye and Sele) impaling Azure semée-de-lis argent, a lion rampant guardant of the last (Holland of Upholland, Lancashire (Baron Holland): Azure semée-de-lys argent, a lion rampant of the second). Arms of Sir w:Roger Fiennes (1384–1449) knight of the shire, Treasurer of King Henry VI's household, High Sheriff of Surrey and Sussex, builder of Herstmonceux Castle. He married Elizabeth Holland, daughter of Sir John Holland and his second wife, Margaret. John Holland's father, Robert, 2nd Baron Holland, was the brother of Thomas Holland, 1st Earl of Kent.
