English: Orangutan eating strawberries. This specific orangutan lived in city of The Hague, in the private zoo of the Dutch stadtholder Prince William V of Orange-Nassau. This is where it was painted by Tethart Haag, who was appointed to the court as painter and art-advisor to the prince.
