| Description |
English: (1 of a multiple picture set.) Sometimes the simplest of things make an impression on me. This old fence stood along a back road leading to Castle Crags State Park, up near Mt. Shasta. At one time there was obviously a pasture or a field behind it, but now it has grown up with tall weeds. I can stand in a spot like this and let my mind go back in time, trying to picture a farmer with a horse-pulled plow tilling his field. He is gone now and Mother Nature has reclaimed the land she let him use for a time. |
