| Description |
English: Old Methodist Chapel, Church Lane, Long Clawson. Methodism was introduced into Long Clawson in the late 1790s. The first chapel was built in 1801 but as the congregation grew the chapel became too small and in 1840 a new chapel was built, see 635629 for further information. This old chapel must have been put to various uses as it has only recently been converted to residential use. |
