Español: La virgen de Guadalupe es una de las figuras más importantes para el mexicano católico, haciendose llamar incluso guadalupanos a sus devotos. Es común que por colonias o familias se organicen para ofrecer fiestas en su honor; las imágenes se agrupan para ser bendecidas y se les hacen ofrendas, esperando recibir el favor o protección de la "madre de dios".
English: The virgin of Guadalupe is one of the most important figures for the catholic mexican, being her devotes called "guadalupanos". It is common for colonies or families to organize a party on her honor; the images of the virgin are arranged to be blessed and make offerings, hoping to have the favor or protection of "the mother of god". |
