Français : La statue Notre-Dame-de-Persévérance à Corseul, une œuvre du sculpteur français Adolphe Masselot au début du XXe siècle. Elle a été réalisée en fonte d’aluminium peinte en blanc et porte dans ses bras l’enfant Jésus. Un fût ainsi que la base d’une colonne gallo-romaine ont été réemployés comme socle de la statue. Une inscription en creux indique l’identité du modèle et le nom de l’auteur : « ND DE PERSÉVÉRANCE » « A. MASSELOT ».
English: The Notre-Dame-de-Persévérance statue in Corseul, a work by the French sculptor Adolphe Masselot at the beginning of the 20th century. She was made of cast aluminum painted white and carries the child Jesus in her arms. A shaft as well as the base of a Gallo-Roman column were reused as the base of the statue. An indented inscription indicates the identity of the model and the name of the author: “ND DE PERSÉVERANCE” “A. MASSELOT”.
Deutsch: Die Statue Notre-Dame-de-Persévérance in Corseul, ein Werk des französischen Bildhauers Adolphe Masselot zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts. Sie bestand aus weiß lackiertem Aluminiumguss und trägt das Jesuskind auf dem Arm. Als Sockel der Statue wurden ein Schaft sowie der Sockel einer galloromanischen Säule wiederverwendet. Eine eingerückte Inschrift weist auf die Identität des Modells und den Namen des Autors hin: „ND DE PERSÉVERANCE“ „A. MASSELOT“.
