Description Looking northward along Main Street from the corner of Swan Street in downtown Buffalo, New York, 1891. All the buildings on this block were demolished three years later to make way for the Ellicott Square Building.
Date is the only year the William N. McMullen printing company, Vickers hat factory, Toulmin's shoemaking company, King & Eisele, and Weber Meyer & English Carpets were all in business simultaneously on this stretch of Main Street
