Description
English: Aerial view of North Canterbury, South Island, New Zealand, looking northwards.

The Ashley River or Rakahuri crosses the middle of the image. The town of Rangiora is just left of centre, immediately south of the river.

The new development just inland from the coast is Pegasus Town, and to its west is Woodend.
