Description
Deutsch: Die Statue des Pestheiligen St. Rochus, errichtet zum Dank für die Verschonung der Briel vor der Pest, wurde gemeinsam mit einer Gedenktafel 1865 in einer Mauernische beim Haus Johannesstraße 50 angebracht.

1945 sind sowohl Statue als auch Tafel verschwunden. Die Nische - inzwischen zugewachsen - wurde bei Bauarbeiten wieder freigelegt. 2014 wurde sie restauriert und eine moderne Madonna, mit der Bezeichnung "Via Sacra" hineingestellt. Wer dies gemacht hat, ist unbekannt.
