Description
English: The Trilliumband: a new Ontario flag design proposal of ultramarine blue, white and ultramarine blue colors in a 2:3 proportion triband, defaced in the center with a stylized ultramarine blue trillium. The ultramarine blue bands represent Ontario's many bodies of water from east to west respectively and the word "Ontario" from the Iroquois language meaning "beautiful lake" or "beautiful water" while the stylized ultramarine trillium against the white background represents Ontario's diverse nature and its purity.
This flag image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.


It is recommended to name the SVG file “New Ontario Flag Trilliumband.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.
