Summary[edit]

Description
English: Sign over one of the platforms at Nereid Avenue Elevated Railway Station on the IRT White Plains Road Line in the Wakefield section of the Bronx, New York City. This sign tells commuters that the platform is for trains going to Flatbush Avenue-Brooklyn College Subway station on the IRT Nostrand Avenue Line via the IRT Lenox Avenue and Broadway-Seventh Avenue Lines in Manhattan, and rush hour trains going to Flatbush Avenue-Brooklyn College Subway station, via the IRT Jerome Avenue Line and then the IRT Lexington Avenue Line in Manhattan. What it doesn't tell you is that this station is the beginning of those rush hour 5 trains, while the 2 trains start one station north of here.
