Holocaust Nazi Soldier Uniform 1933-1945

Description
English: Photo taken on May 8th, 2019 at Lofoten War Memorial Museum ("Lofoten Krigsminnemuseum") in Svolvær, Norway. The museum exhibits uniforms, smaller items, etc. from World War II and the German occupation of Norway 1940–1945:
  • Reich Labour Service (RAD) leader uniform.Unterfeldmeister der Reichsarbeitsdienst. Tuchmutze service cap, gorget with Arbeit adelt, RAD insigne of the swastika on a shovel. NSDAP member pin, Gautag Ost-Hannover 1939 pin, Gausiger 1938 Hitlerjugend pin, 3. Internat. Luftrennen 1940 pin. Swastika armband. Emsland cufftitle. Sam Browne belt, RAD buckle, RAD dagger. RAD helped org.Todt in Norway.
  • Ceremonial parade full-dress uniform (grosser Gesellschaftanzug) for a Major in the Wehrmacht, the army of Nazi Germany, with visor cap, aiguillette, formel belt, buckle, Reichsadler (Imperial eagle), Iron Cross decorations, DRL sports badge, etc. Waffenrock (military coat) model 1935 with Litzen (braids on collar and cuffs) and Ärmelpatten on cuffs. Riding breeches.
  • Also posters, shovel, "Singend wollen wir marschieren" RAD song book (Liederbuch des Reichsarbeitsdienstes RAD), DAF (German Labour Front) plaque, RAD Gedenkblatt, RAD Arbeitsbuch, German gas mask for horses, etc.


Norsk bokmål: Uniform for offiser i Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD), den tyske arbeidstjenesten som også var i Norge under krigen for å bistå Organisation Todt (OT) i bygging av veier, anlegg osv. Også paradeuniform for major i Wehrmacht, den tyske hæren i Hitler-Tyskland, med høylue og ridebukser, adjutantsnor, flere jernkors og DRL-sportsmerke.
