Description of Geometric Drawing

  1. Use the 中–子 straight line, with the 中 point as the center of the circle, and 中–甲 as the radius to draw a 甲乙丙丁 circle to form the white sun.
  2. On the 甲–戌 line, take the length equivalent to 1/15 of 甲–丙 line and use the 中 point as the center of the circle and 中–戊 as the radius, drawing a 戊己庚辛 circle. The circle between this circle and the 甲乙丙丁 circle is the blue ring.
  3. Extend the 中–子 line through points 丙 and 午. Use the 中 point as the center of the circle and the 中–子 line as the radius to draw a circle. Divide the 子–午 arc into 6 equal parts to get 5 points: 丑, 寅, 卯, 辰, 巳. Connect these 5 points to the center of the circle. The extensions of each line will cross the non-divided arc, forming 5 more points:
  4. On the circle of 子, 丑, 寅, 卯, 辰, 巳, 午, 未, 申, 酉, 戌, 亥, connect two neighboring points every 4 points to form the 12 rays, each top angle in 30 degrees, all 12 angles totaling 360 degrees.
  5. Extend the 中–子 line to the point of 協 so that the ratio of 中–協 to 中–甲 becomes 3:1. Use the middle point as the center of the circle, use 中–協 as the radius and draw a circle to extend the 子–午 line and 卯–酉 line to the outer circle, connecting to the 4 points: 協, 和, 萬 and 邦, forming the 協和萬邦 blue circle.
