Description
Deutsch: München. Erziehungsinstitut Nymphenburg Englische Fräulein. Klosterkirche Nymphenburg, eingeweiht am 26. Mai 1739. Die nach Planung Joseph Effners errichtete Kapelle, Chorfrauenkirche genannt, ausgeführt durch Johann Baptist Zimmermann, wurde im 2. Weltkrieg zerstört. Von der originalen Ausstattung ist das von Giovanni Battista Tiepolo gefertigte Altarblatt erhalten und wurde im Jahr 1938 der Alten Pinakothek übergeben. Es zeigt den heiligen Papst Clemens Die heilige Dreifaltigkeit erscheint. Alle Figuren der Ausstattung stammten von Johann Baptist Straub. Links, Johannes Nepomuk und rechts Petrus Ferrerius.
