Description The following is the author's description of the photograph quoted directly from the photograph's Flickr page.
"Morro Bay North T pier 1:38 P.M. on a very cloudy day. The dynamic range of this image was so wide that I took 5 images at 1 1/3 stop exposure steps and process in Photomatix. I did clone out a power box that was next to the left pier pillar. I also had to overlay one image to mask out blur on the blue boat to the left. A tad time consuming but worth the time IMO. I believe Carlo had taken this location at a different angle a few weeks prior and I wanted to try a different approach. Canon 1D Mark III w/16-35 mm f/2.8L on a Gitzo 55 series tripod and RRS BH-55 ballhead. "
