Photograph of Mission Santa Barbara bell, 1901. A close-up view is given of the bell at center. The bell bears the inscription "Ave Maria Purisima, Santa Barbara 1804". Bell pull is attached to iron "S" at top of bell. The bell is held by a curved metal beam attached to the wall, and a metal crossbeam can be seen below the bell in the background. Looking down, part of a building is visible through the tower window.
