Description
English: Bust of Minerva, also known as the "Mazarin Alexander": first described in the collections of Cardinal Mazarin as a bust of Alexander the Great, bought by Louis XIV as a Minerva, the bust probably copies the type of the Mattei Athena. Porphyry and metal (bust), pastiche of the 17th century.
