Summary[edit]
DescriptionMicrowave antenna12456.jpg |
English: Parabolic dish antennass on a communications tower, used for point-to-point microwave communication links. All the dishes except the lowest one have cylindrical metal shrouds attached to their rims. The shroud shields the dish from interfering signals coming from other angles, and in transmitting dishes reduces the sidelobe radiation outside the main beam. This allows multiple antennas on the same tower to use the same frequencies without interference. |
