| Description |
English: Since it became fashionable to present desserts in "jars", the sweet food cooks in Turkey invent something new every day. I took this plate from the dessert cart taking it as a muhallebi (Turkish style menjar blanc) decorated with fruits; and yes, it was more or less a pudding I could call muhallebi, but then it had a piece of "pandispanya" (spongy cake) at the bottom, as if it were "supangle". If I go to the same restaurant again, I will ask and add the name. For the moment I baptised it as "meyveli muhallebi" or muhallebi with fruits. |
