Italiano: Diagramma riassuntivo del processo metamorfico. L'area tra l'asse delle ordinate (pressione) e la linea nera continua contraddistingue condizioni termobariche non esistenti in natura. La linea nera continua indica il gradiente geotermico di 6°C/km, lungo la quale la temperatura aumenta di poco con la profondità. MFO indica il metamorfismo di fondo oceanico, che avviene in prossimità delle dorsali, in condizioni di bassa pressione e alta temperatura. La linea tratteggiata a destra rappresenta la curva di inizio fusione del sistema granitico saturo di acqua, che contraddistingue il metamorfismo regionale. L'area sotto questa curva identifica il processo magmatico. |
