Description
Español: Monumento conmemorativo en homenaje a las enfermeras por su labor durante la pandemia de la COVID-19, frente a la entrada principal de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud de la Universidad de Málaga, campus de Teatinos, Málaga, España. La escultura de metal, obra de José Luis Martín García, representa dos manos entrelazadas sobre un corazón. La placa situada en la cara frontal del pedestal sobre el que se asienta la escultura dice: «En homenaje a las Enfermeras en el año declarado por la OMS como / "Año Internacional de la Enfermera y la Matrona", / y en agradecimiento por su compromiso y entrega en el cuidado / a la población durante la pandemia de la COVID-19. / Inaugurada por D. José Ángel Narváez Bueno / Rector de la Universidad de Málaga / Escultura de José Luis Martín García / En Málaga, a 12 de julio de 2021».[1]
