Italiano: Il dispositivo è montato su un telaio in alluminio che presenta su un lato due blocchi di connettori da 36 pin ciascuno, sull'altro lato una ruota dentata e nelle parti superiore e inferiore vari dispositivi elettromeccanici, tra cui leverismi e relè. Dai due blocchi di connettori si dipartono 68 fili di rame rivestiti (34+34): quelli di un blocco terminano 7 su una serie di espansioni metalliche, 9 ai 18 relè situati su due file nella parte inferiore, 16 su una basetta plastica posta nella parte anteriore del dispositivo sulla quale sono inseriti i collegamenti di contatti striscianti .Quelli del secondo blocco terminano 9 sui 9 relè di una fila, 9 sugli 8 relè della seconda fila, enrambe le file situate nella parte superiore del dispositivo,16 su una basetta plastica posta nella parte posteriore del dispositivo Nella parte interna del dispositivo 8 + 8 dischi muniti di gradini a dente di sega in contatto con i leverismi adiacenti Sono visibili all'esterno del dispositivo 16 espansioni divise in blocchi, di destra e di sinistra, che ricoprono asimmetricamente rispetto alla mezzeria, 8 dischi l'una e 1 l'altra (le espansioni sono barre metalliche sezionate trasversalmente a metà e a circa 1/16 della lunghezza)
la funzione di questo dispositivo era quello di memorizzare dati di lettura delle schede perforate per azionare dei meccanismi della tabulatrice IBM 421.

"The device is mounted on an aluminum frame which has on one side two blocks of connectors of 36 pins each, on the other side a gear wheel and in the upper and lower parts various electromechanical devices, including levers and relays. 68 sheathed copper wires (34 + 34) branch off from the two blocks of connectors: those of a block end 7 on a series of metal expansions, 9 to 18 relays located on two rows in the lower part, 16 on a plastic base placed in the front part of the device on which the sliding contact connections are inserted.
