Medieval spur or purse frame fragment
Description
English: A copper-alloy object which is either a fragment of a 12th to 14th century prick spur, or a hanger from a 15th century Type A4-6 purse frame (see London Museum; 1967; pp. 96 and pl XXXV). The piece has a double-loop terminal which is separated from a thin arm by a double horizontal moulded border. It measures 28.9mm long by 14.6mm wide and 2.1mm thick. The weight is 2.92g.
