Description
English: Very unusual form of tinned purse frame, central broad sub-rectangular boss with open horizontal key-shaped perforation in all four angles, very short circular-sectioned bar projects from both sides, both with annular rove forming terminal, one bar retains broken flat-sectioned fragment of pendent frame, central boss pierced by integral rivet at base of ovoid pendant loop, cast annular rove at foot. 50 x 69mm. Very unusual, not like any in the type series in illustrated LMMC (1967), Fig.52. Late 15th-early 16th century
