Medieval purse frame

Title
Medieval purse frame
Description
English: Possible fragment of a purse frame. The object is large and relatively thick compared to most other purse frames, and appears to have a diameter that is excessive for this function. The object is crescentric and has a broad, slightly faceted side with a narrow ledge in the centre on the reverse. There are no holes in this ledge, which is where one would expect them if it were a purse frame. One end is incomplete, and the other has a definite upturned terminal which is broken around a central rivet hole, which resembles the terminals on purse frames.
