English: MkV gas mask in satchel that belonged to Cyril Rodgers, RNZAF ground crew in Pacific, WW2 .1 gas mask- stiffened moulded black rubber mask with splinterless glass eyepieces; corrugated rubber tube with stockinette type fabric covering; black elastic head harness; filter canister of red brick-coloured metal markings- canister top- WILLOW (brand-name) - ML7 1041 - T249 canister base- No. 4A - WILLOW - 1939 - 126. - EVI. head harness stamped- No 4 III, 7-10-41 eye frame- III STOKES 1941 rubber mask- NORMAL - O.T.R.C. 7-41 circular mouth piece with aluminium fitting- M.II. - 1941 - V - D.C. and No. 4 III .2 satchel- khaki canvas satchel; interior has divider creating three compartments; front flap has 2 x pebbled dome fasteners; two external pockets verso with a flap with two dome fasteners; three metal vents at base of satchel and metal rings for carry strap on either side named in (pencil) outside flap "C. RODGERS - No 1. GEN REG. Sqdn. (RAF) stamped to inside flap- MK VI - Z.L. and T. Ltd. 1941
