Description
English: Nyatapola Temple is a five storey temple in Bhaktapur, Nepal, which is one of the two five storey temple in Kathmandu Valley. Madhav Narayan Festival is a popular Hindu festival celebrated in Bhaktapur, Nepal. It is observed in the month of Magh (January/February) and is dedicated to Lord Madhav Narayan, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Devotees fast for the entire month and have to maintain it by strict disciplinary rules and regulation.The devotees roll on the ground and take holy bath in the river as a part of ritual.
