Description
Deutsch: Vogelschauplan des Großen Gartens in Hannover-Herrenhausen, Blick von Süden nach Norden, gezeichnet von Johann Jacob Müller, gestochen von Joost van Sasse, Kupferstich, um 1725. Oben in der Mitte das Schloss mit Corps de Logis und Ehrenhof. Rechts davon das Galeriegebäude und dahinter die Orangerie, links verschiedene Nebengebäude für die Hofhaltung. Vor dem Schloss das Parterre, rechts davon das Gartentheater. Im Vordergrund die südliche Gartenhälfte mit der Großen Fontäne.

Français : Plan à vol d'oiseau du jardin royal de Herrenhausen (aujoud'hui: Großer Garten ‹ Grand Jardin ›) près de Hanovre, du sud au nord, dessiné par J. J. Müller, engravé par Joost van Sasse, gravure sur cuivre, circa 1725. En haut au milieu le château avec le corps de logis et le cour d'honneur, à droite l'édifice de la galerie avec l'orangerie là-derrière, à gauche divers bâtiments de la domaine. Devant le château le paterre et à droite le théâtre de verdure. En premier plan la moité sud du jardin avec le grand bassin au centre.
