Description
Français : Médaille en étain

Elle représente la reddition de Mantoue face à la France pe,da,t la période du Directoire. Napoléon était alors général de la campagne d’Italie.

(Avers) REDDITION DE MANTOUE, Un citoyen de la ville remet la clé de la ville à un légionnaire en fond on aperçois l'aqueduc de la ville c'est une inspiration Greco-Romaine. Gravé par Lavy.

(Revers) A L’ARMÉE D'ITALIE/ VICTORIEUSE LOI/ DU 24. PLUVIOSE/ AN 5me R. En haut, on retrouve une couronne de laurier. Au centre, un sceptre avec de la foudre de chaque coté.

Elle est actuellement conservée à la Maison Losseau à Mons.
