Description
English: Description plate on the memorial for Dr. h.c. Eduard Imhof on Lueghubel in Fahrni municipality, Switzerland.

Eduard-lmhof-Gedenkstätte
Auf Anregung von Marlis und Dr. Hans Suter liess der Gemeinderat von Fahrni
diese Gedenkstätte in den Jahren 1999/2000 zu Ehren ihres berühmten Bürgers
Professor Dr.h.c. Eduard lmhof auf dem höchsten Punkt der Gemeinde errichten.
Ähnliche Bauten wie die vorliegende wurden früher als Vermessungspyramiden
über Triangulationspunkten in den Bergen verwendet.
Folgende Personen und Institutionen trugen dazu bei, dass die Gedenkstätte.
