A narrow paved road passes through grassy slopes, pine trees, and a comfort station.

Doughton Park Campground. The landscape is organized as a series of loop roads, with pedestrian trails and walkways connecting camp sites to the comfort stations. The lower tent loop with comfort station (building #98) were built by 1940.
