English: Looking up the tower, Baconsthorpe Hall, Baconsthorpe This is the staircase tower of the hall, which was converted from the outer gatehouse of Baconsthorpe Castle in the 16C. Doorways can be seen, but no sign of stone steps, so perhaps there was a wooden staircase. |
