Summary[edit]

Description
English: Shows Round, Crossed, Backhand Turn styles. All have 3x180arc geometry for more 2D grip possible. Close Relatives Sailor's and Pile Hitch are hybrids between the higher frictions of Crossed Turn and then Backhand Turn types. And, thus so inherited into the friction hitch builds of these, Sailor to Sailor's Gripping Hitch and Pile as becomes Icicle. All stronger, less deformity to Standing part if load from the Crossed Turn side with the crossing on the host, as opposed to loading from the Backhand Turn side that crossing is off host, right against Standing Part. The double strategy of 2 base turn types, makes these a class above simple hitches.
