Description
Nederlands: Deze foto is zeer fototechnisch ingesteld. De sluitertijd werd zo groot mogelijk genomen om het “wazig” bewegend effect van het water te krijgen. Ook het diafragma werd op het minimum ingesteld, omwille van de grote hoeveelheid licht die men binnenkrijg bij het gebruiken van een grote sluitertijd. De verklaart ook de opvallende witte kleur van het water. Het is met deze techniek ook noodzakelijk dat de fotograaf de minste beweging vermijdt met de camera. Het resultaat is een mooi contrast tussen de statische “scherpe” rotsen enerzijds en het “wazig” bewegend water anderzijds. De rivier zorgt met haar diagonaal karakter bovendien dat de foto in tweeën wordt gedeeld. Er dient in het bijzonder te worden meegedeeld dat de eerste opzet van de fotograaf enkel het bewegingseffect van het water was, zonder de rotsen, maar dit in de situatie fototechnisch niet mogelijk was.
