Sliding doors to prevent nitrogen asphyxiation

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Sliding doors at National Synchrotron Light Source II. Behind these doors there is a room with a vat of liquid nitrogen, which a robot arm dips protein crystals into, as preparation for X-Ray crystallography. The doors are there to prevent the breathing air from being displaced by evaporating nitrogen.
