Fig. 1 Leucochloridium paradoxum dissected from the snail. At the tips of the older tubes, at the basal parts of which the secondary proliferations are developed to varying degrees, can be seen the large broodsacs, the gradual development and colouring of which are clearly presented here. The distension in the stem of the lowest broodsac is caused by a mature larva passing through it. The broodsac at the top middle is completely mature and has entered the tentacle of the snail, but the stalk is drawn much shorter here than it would be in the correct proportion, in order to save space. Enlargement approximately three times.
Deutsch: Fig. 1. Leucochloridium paradoxum aus der Schnecke herauspräpariert. Man erkennt an den Spitzen der älteren Schläuche, an deren Basalteilen die secundären Proliferationen sich mehr oder minder entwickelt zeigen, die zu den grossen Schläuchen anwachsenden Endstücke, deren allmähliche Entwicklung und Ausfärbung hier deutlich zu sehen ist. Die Auftreibung in dem Stiele des untersten Schlauches wird durch eine denselben passierende reife Larve hervorgerufen. Der oben in der Mitte gelegene Schlauch ist vollkommen erwachsen und in den Fühler der Schnecke eingetreten, der Stiel aber, der Raumersparnis halber, hier viel kürzer gezeichnet, als er im richtigen Verhältnis sein würde. Vergrösserung ungefähr dreifach. |
