Summary[edit]

Description

L’architecte Antoine Stinco a été choisi en 1987 pour réaménager le bâtiment du Jeu de Paume. Sans modifier son aspect extérieur, il a restructuré le volume intérieur en créant des espaces d’exposition supplémentaires, une salle audiovisuelle, une librairie et un café. Les salles, aux volumes variés, jouent avec la lumière naturelle et offrent des échappées sur le Jardin des Tuileries, la Place de la Concorde, la Seine et le dôme des Invalides. La Galerie nationale du Jeu de Paume est inaugurée en juin 1991.

Cet architecte a également aménagé l'Ecole du Louvre
