Description
English: A fragment of a purse frame belonging to Ward-Perkins' Class A1.. The fragment, which is L-shaped in section, retains one of the suspension holes for the purse and the edge of a second. The decoration comprises pairs of criss-crossing lines, each inlaid with niello.
