Description
English: Cartoon by John T. McCutcheon lionizing Judge Kenesaw Mountain Landis. Top panel shows a bunch of portly men in a room labeled "CROOKS CLUB". A man runs in saying "The government is getting ready to take action against you fellers" while the portly men laugh heartily. In the bottom panel the messenger adds "In Judge Landis Court!", the portly men react with shock and fear. This was originally published in Chicago Daily News (1920).
